Treatments
What kind of techniques do I use as a professional?

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a specialized form of massage therapy aimed at relieving muscular pain and discomfort, which is included in most of my sessions. It focuses on identifying and treating trigger points, which are hyperirritable spots within muscle tissue that can cause referred pain to other areas of the body. During a trigger point therapy session, the therapist applies direct pressure to these specific points, often using their fingers, knuckles, or specialized tools. This pressure helps release tension and improve blood flow to the affected area, which can alleviate pain and improve range of motion. Trigger point therapy may be incorporated into a comprehensive treatment plan for various musculoskeletal issues, such as tension headaches, neck and shoulder pain, or chronic back pain.

Therapeutic Massage
This can be used in conjunction with other alternative therapies. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.

Reflexology
A therapeutic foot treatment that stimulates specific pressure points to restore balance throughout the body. Reflexology helps relieve stress, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation, leaving you feeling lighter, renewed, and fully refreshed.

Medical Massage
Medical massage aims to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and enhance overall well-being. It may be used to treat various musculoskeletal issues, injuries, chronic pain, and conditions such as fibromyalgia or carpal tunnel syndrome. The techniques used in medical massage are tailored to the individual’s needs and may include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage, among others. It’s often integrated into comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers to optimize outcomes for patients.

Cupping Treatment
A therapeutic treatment that uses gentle suction cups to stimulate circulation, release deep muscle tension, and support the body’s natural healing process. Cupping helps reduce soreness, improve mobility, and promote faster recovery.
Ideal for athletes, chronic tightness, or anyone seeking deeper muscle relief and improved flow.

Pre-Natal for mom and baby
A gentle and nurturing massage specially designed for mothers-to-be. This treatment helps relieve back pain, reduce swelling, ease muscle tension, and promote deep relaxation during pregnancy. A comforting, supportive massage created to help expecting mothers relax and feel at ease. This massage will help the baby to feel calmer as well.

Aromatherapy:
Aromatherapy can be administered through inhalation, topical application, or diffusion, allowing the aromatic compounds in the oils to interact with the body’s olfactory system, skin, or respiratory system. The practice is believed to have therapeutic effects, including stress reduction, mood enhancement, pain relief, improved sleep, and immune support.
